A taxi symbol that only works when used at full scale isn’t clearly doing its job. It must also be effective on cab doors, roof signs, business cards, and even dispatch screens. The typeface for a taxi driver logo or fleet brand must be instantly readable for a passenger making a snap decision under imperfect conditions. So, pick wide, bold sans-serifs with generous letter spacing for quick, easy readability even from a distance or in low light (or even through a rain-covered windscreen). If your taxi name happens to be quite long, you can condense the letters. 

Please avoid script fonts because they don’t read well on moving taxis, especially when a prospective passenger is trying to spot your cab from wet pavement. Strong, bold typeface options are definitely your go-to.
